Simply stated, Boomer Bodybuilding's Sculpting Success System is the accumulation and end result of nearly a half-century of personal training & application, diet & eating experimentation, research and writing in the fitness and nutritional fields.
The emphasis and bottom line of the System is old-fashioned, physical culture-grounded, basic bodybuilding, which I believe--backed up by millions of testimonial trainees and bodies around the globe--is THE most (by far!) efficient and effective of any and all fitness and get-in-shape approaches and programs. Why? Because with sensible, properly applied (easier said than done...) bodybuilding, whether it be weight, apparatus or body resistance (in order of effectiveness), an individual can both burn fat and build muscle while shaping (sculpting) the body to best suit personal needs and desires. You literally have the destiny of your body in your creative hands. No other single exercise entity has the broad ability to shape or re-shape the physique--the human bodily form--with such dramatic results. You can virtually be your own body's artist. And you can image your body on your own canvas. If you look at your body more as an art form--an extension of your forefathers genetics--you will be much more likely to trim the ugly, excess fat--especially abdomen flab that negatively impacts men's health--and contour shapely lean tissue for
a great looking body...and improved health. It's a shame that most men (& women) nowadays will never realize their great genetic potential and honor their bloodline because they just can't shove the junk food away from their mouths (Americans particularly) and get enough (proper) exercise. If we could somehow devise a way to see through the body's layers of fat, bones and muscles--in a reflective and comparative way, density and exacting percentages-wise, shape and contour-wise--people could perhaps visualize the true body they could have with proper application... some people would discover muscular, shapely legs while others would see chiseled arms and chest, while still others would uncover those tight, fat-free (a quick but effective snapshot of inner health) abdominal muscles standing out in bold, six-pack relief. And guys, women absolutely LOVE to run their feminine fingers over those ripples of ab muscles! Everyone--E-V-E-R-Y-B-O-D-Y--is impressed with a six-pack of abs! It IS the defining element of the IN-SHAPE body. Period. Certainly, all of this is a worthy goal, especially as baby boomers age. Kick
it UP boomers!
This System will mentor YOU--no matter who YOU are--in that direction. This System will provide a bountiful blueprint to follow. This System will coach, lead-by-example, motivate, inspire, educate and entertain you in such a way that YOU cannot help but succeed. But your success is dictated by YOU, not some group of self-serving judges at a physique contest (sorry to those judges who would never compromise their integrity), or whether you buy into the absurd drug culture. Together with a precision program of aerobics-oriented activities (like a stint of boxing training), a modified Mediterranean eating plan (more fun, healthy & non-restrictive), and enjoyable health-deriving lifestyle enhancements (changes, improvements), golden-age bodybuilding is the ideal ANSWER for fitness enthusiasts and ALL BABY BOOMERS. I am NOT talking about obsessive-compulsive behavior and competitive bodybuilding as it exists today, like the stuff you may have seen on TV or in muscle magazines. Rather, and I guess I can't beat this drum enough, our approach and System utilizes the best and most positive
of what bodybuilding originally intended...to develop a nice or even great body while building greater strength & health...without extremism, competition (although we guardedly support Natural competition, if it can be believed... minus any politics!) or growth-enhancing drugs.
Boomer Bodybuilding's Sculpting Success System utilizes time-tested bodybuilding including the most up-to-date (and selective) techniques and strategies as the nucleus of its fitness approach, freeze-framing the arty-sport (my coined verbiage) in the golden era of what was more referred to as physical culture...that period between the roaring 20s and the late fifties. We draw a line in the proverbial Muscle Beach sand around 1960, when drugs drew their initial, collective attention and dug their poisoned fangs into bodybuilding and our national-and international--conscience. Our System's standards are based in ancient Egyptian, ancient Greek, and Greco-Roman physique ideals. Modern day embodiment examples include bodybuilding champions John Grimek, Steve Reeves, Vince Gironda, Alan Stephen, Reg Lewis, George Eiferman, Roland Essmaker and last but certainly NOT least Irv "Zabo" Koszewski. Most of these champions I have known and met--and learned much from--in various capacities. Much of what I have learned elsewhere has been greatly influenced by these invaluable personal interactions. I will always honor them for it. Today's scientific studies can be very revealing and definitely have their place in bodybuilding and fitness, but isn't it interesting that much of what comes out by the lab coats simply confirms what the above champions--and all serious lifters--already knew. It's just amazing that it took all these years and academic and public attention to bring it to the forefront. What I resent is how so many of these so-called experts--especially the ones who have the strength and bodies of... wannabe wimps--lay claims to "new discoveries" & "proven approaches and applications." In other words, bodybuilding has held the keys to greater health, strength, weight-control, fat-loss, body shaping and re-composition...than anything...and far before practically anything else. Any baby boomer trainee with years under his weight belt--worth his Epsom salt-- knows this to be true. All these new-age weight-loss discoveries, get-in-shape schemes, body makeovers are ALL
in some way--if not entirely--based on physical culture, golden-age bodybuilding regimens & pioneers. This is not to suggest that there are not valid findings and confirmations made nowadays regarding fitness & health matters, especially as it relates to muscle building and fat burning, but basic bodybuilding as previously defined and as practiced in our System laid an incredible groundwork of what has come to be proven long before personal trainers, ten-thousand certifications & governing bodies, fancy cutting-edge supplements (some just pure crap, with false, unproven claims using obscure research and studies) and just as many "experts" who "uncover" fancy, newfangled approaches, usually just flipped over sunny side up, offer to an awaiting flock of diet do-gooders and workout-less warriors. There are however, a fair amount of quality presenters that are A-1. My System (and me, its originator) are just another addition to that A-list.
I've actually had my System devised since 1980. But procrastination (which I cover with some profound points in my System ) enveloped my being and took me hostage...until I finally got my head out of my ass-ets in late 2003, early '04 and produced it. The only difference between what I've done myself--and what I've been taught by legitimate experts--over these many years, and this Sculpting Success System is I formalized and systemized everything I knew, most of it springing from my own failures and successes, The essence of my System is based around (literally) what I refer to as Rotating Routines for exercise and eating. The beauty of this System is both in its simplicity and its diversity (what a combo!). After proper, priority self-evaluation, you simply plug yourself into a desired stage and follow designated steps and sequential strategies to the next stage, which are loosely set in time-frames. You then play a roulette game of rotation, utilizing countless tips, tweaks and turns to eventually accomplish your goals. This System is absolutely perfect for any participant level and uniquely introduces so much variety and interest that one cannot fail but to succeed.

BB's Sculpting Success System purposely and thoughtfully uses many catch phrases and words to tickler the memory and engage the user. Virtually everything in the System is creatively tied to the Egyptian Pyramids, Greek history and culture, intertwined with present day bodybuilding, fitness--in all its facets--and health. I use many analogies and anecdotal references to highlight interest and peak participant's motivation. It is a thinking man's System--I respect your intelligence--for a reason and that reason is the proven theory of mind-body influence and engagement. Also, by creatively entertaining you I hope to heighten your emergence and enthusiasm. To that end, for example, I use three (3) reps as a descriptive reference point to underscore the entire System: The 3's, R's, E's, P's, & S's have multiple declarative meanings, making things easy to remember and refer to. While interesting, it is uncomplicated and clear.
Remember, it's a K-I-S-S (Keep it Simple System) with 3 R-E-P-S. But there is much more. And it is also designed to make it fun. Because without much fun, fitness is a flop. Even mega-money-man Donald Trump in his latest bestseller, "How To Get Rich", says you first must LOVE what you are doing if you hope to succeed. And he claims if you do not have that LOVE then you should CHANGE until you find that rainbow and that LOVE. Trump says find that and find success. When it comes to claiming your body masterpiece, in its own way worth as much--or more--as one of Trump's heralded super structures, this System will assist you find your love(s) and build your own super structure. One of the most important keys is that change, that experimentation, that exploration.
And systematic change--qualitatively--is exactly what this System is all about. No matter what your love--or if you even know it--when it comes to working out and diet...will be revealed. I even have a simple rating system (and much more elaborate
one in the complete program) so you will know exactly where you stand, what to do next...and when. This System will give you the freedom to claim your rightful body and unveil your body masterpiece, at whatever level YOU choose: Clothes-Fit, Tone-Fit, or Body-Fit. John Grimek, perhaps the only truly undefeated bodybuilder ever, was a firm believer in mixing things up, changing and rotating routines, but always in a methodical manner. I've never, ever seen a systemized approach to this method of training.
Certainly not covering all the bases in such an in-depth, thorough program as this System's. And to think I first got wind of it from the great John Grimek in letter form way back when I was a young teenager. Pretty good source for building a body pyramid, wouldn't you agree?
Important note: While this System is all about change and rotation to the betterment of exercise and diet, it definitely does not bounce needlessly around--without reason, no matter how small or large--like some rubber ball in a handball court. But make no mistake, this System's variety does provide a foolproof formula and continuous stimulus to stave off boredom and encourage ongoing results (which are defined with a unique twist). THREE STRATEGIES TO BODY MASTERPIECE CONSTRUCTION
1.) Two short words with a total of eight letters that is the cornerstone for virtually

2.) Intensity of effort is a given for building the body. But there is also one more key

Studies have shown recently however, that oldsters (baby boomers close to that edge) can build muscle and bone mass nearly
as easily as their younger counterparts. Remember: No matter what your persuasion on bodybuilding per se (just strip away the competitive negatives), muscle is the only element of your body which you can actually and positively shape. Muscle provides form and substance and the human clay you need to build a body masterpiece, a shapely physique. You cannot say the same for fat. It has no real ability to maintain appealing shape or artistic form. You can't shape fat but you can certainly lose it, or gain it. Muscle--the gold standard of bodybuilding and this System--is the arch enemy of fat, on the opposite end of the body balance spectrum... the more muscle you add to your body the more the fat furnace is stoked up, burning the ugly, excess stuff 24/7. While a healthy amount of body fat is necessary for bodily function and protection, it is usually the primary culprit in the battle of the bulge and the boomer's fight to maintain fit-shape. And as boomers age they continue to erode the muscle percentage in their bodies, contributing to their weaker and body-challenged state. Not just any old exercise program will build lean muscle, either. Nothing beats--or even equals--resistance exercise for balancing the muscle-fat ratios for
optimum appearance and health.
Don't forget: This System is not about overdoing it and taking it to the extremes. It's not about competition. And it's not about becoming muscle-bound (overstated worry). It's about taking advantage of the pioneering, positive paths established by bodybuilding and the trendsetting it cut towards the fitness explosion enjoyed today. Bodybuilding--especially when it comes to cosmetic applications, weight control, fat loss, muscle addition, and the like--has always been light years ahead of any and all other fitness concepts. Here's a novel idea for ALL BABY BOOMERS: Instead of just losing bodyweight, getting in some shape with non-resistant exercises, and striving for the hit-and-miss diet and fitness programs, why not act as your own body's sculptor and build your version of a body masterpiece? You don't have to take it to the higher level if you don't want to and unveil it formally to anyone...you can just keep your masterpiece to yourself. But consider the incentives, for your appearance and your health, no matter what level you choose...Clothes-Fit, Tone-Fit or Body-Fit. You can't lose (except fat & weak body) no matter what! Moreover, if you look at your body more as a human art piece than just a mere form that you (abuse) and occupy, you will be more inclined to get in better shape...and stay there. With this System you can make it fun, accept building your masterpiece as a challenge, and strive for continual and positive improvement, defined by your perceptions, not mine or anyone else's.
With the extreme problem nowadays with the younger generations and obesity and ill health, just think of the impact and positive example you could set for your children and grandchildren by getting in great shape, and reflecting robust health? These generations are in serious risk for their futures.
Here's something for your scrapbook. Read carefully. Consider how YOU getting in great shape can positively affect your whole family...forever. The positive ramifications! And how YOU getting in shape--and wearing the proof everywhere--can leave a lasting impression...a lasting legacy. Why just peeling off fat from your flab-pack and turning it into some semblance of a six-pack would not only do your health and insides a world of good, but would make you look so much better. Just that! That could be your masterpiece. For boomer men there's a direct correlation between that bulging, hanging, pregnant-like gut (you know, the one that so many men hide with large, outside-the-pants shirts), and a host of major health-related problems. Rotating Routines for exercise and eating would be just the fitness prescription for that problem area. Other than bringing out more of a V-shape of the upper body, losing belly fat and ab concentration is our specialty.
If you have never lifted weights or done resistance exercise before, and bodybuilding has kind of seemed like some mutated disease that you must avoid, I'm asking you to change your mind and start...to rotate to my System.
